ACT Reading

The ACT Reading section typically consists of four passages, (the last one containing 2 passages) each followed by 10-11 questions, for a total of 40-45 questions.

Test-takers are given 35 minutes to complete this section, which means they have about 8 minutes and 45 seconds per passage, including time for reading the passage and answering the associated questions.
